MIAMI, FL(SMI-GLOBAL LATIN ENTERTAINMENT,09.17-11.13.25)-The Latin Recording Academy® announced the Best New Artists nominees for It's 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®, to be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas

The Latin Academy's membership body of music creators, who represent all genres and creative disciplines—including recording artists, songwriters, producers, recording engineers and mixers—vote during the Awards Process.

Best New Artist Category:

 

Alleh is a Venezuelan vocalist known for his contemporary Latin music. He gained international recognition in 2024 as part of a musical duo with producer Yorghaki. In 2024, Alleh and Yorghaki released the viral song "Capaz (Merengueton)," which helped the duo rise to prominence.

Debut Album: That same year, they followed up their viral single with their debut album, La Ciudad.In 2025, the track "Capaz (Merengueton)" received a Premio Juventud award in the Tropical Mix category.Solo Work: Prior to his collaboration with Yorghaki, Alleh (whose full name is Alleh Mezher) released solo singles in 2022, including "Baby Guaya" and "De mentira

"Anna Sofia singer" is a Toronto-based musician who rose to prominence as a teen.A multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Anna Sofia's musical style is influenced by classic artists like Queen and Elton John as well as modern contemporaries. She began writing songs around age 15, focusing on relatable subjects for teenagers like high school parties, crushes, and self-love. 

Her Music "Eat It All Up" (2021): One of her early releases was written over Zoom and addressed bringing trust issues from a past relationship into a new one and "Let Me Out I'm Free! (2022): This EP, accompanied by a visual short film, explores themes of a young woman gaining creative control over her music.

DJ sets: Anna Sofia has explored electronic music, performing DJ sets that include genres like hyperpop and drum and bass.Recent collaborations: In 2025, she collaborated with The Chainsmokers on the track "Helium". She also released singles like "Mad World" and "Do What I Want". 

Yerai Cortés Merino is a contemporary flamenco guitarist and composer from Alicante, Spain. Born in 1995, he is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional flamenco by blending it with modern and other musical influences.Cortés's passion for flamenco was cultivated within his family. He learned to play guitar from his father, Miguel, and was encouraged by his mother, Maria.

He started his career performing in prestigious flamenco venues, or tablaos, throughout Madrid, such as Las Carboneras and Corral de la Morería.His career has featured collaborations with prominent flamenco artists like Farruquito and Rocío Molina, as well as musicians from other genres, including jazz bassist Richard Bona and Spanish artist C. Tangana.Cortés is recognized for his "gitano" playing style and for his ability to merge traditional techniques with contemporary influences, creating a sound that is both fresh and timeless. .

Juliane Gamboa is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, curator, and music teacher from Rio de Janeiro. In September 2025, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammys. 

Music and career  & Influences: Gamboa's musical style is influenced by jazz, samba, and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), with an emphasis on Afro-Brazilian traditions.

Discography and collaborations: She has released several singles and EPs, including "No Espelho" (2020) and "Dava Praia (Remix)" (2023). In 2024, she released the album JAZZWOMAN, which was produced by Lucas Fixel. She has collaborated with various artists, such as Zélia Duncan, Ana Costa, and Josiel Konrad.

Camila Guevara: A prominent singer-songwriter who is the granddaughter of both revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara and musician Pablo Milanés. 

She is the daughter of Camilo Guevara (son of Che Guevara) and Suylén Milanés (daughter of Pablo Milanés). In August 2025, it was announced that her album, Dame Flores, was being considered for the Latin Grammy Awards. The album's creation was inspired by the death of her family members.Record label: She is signed to Sony Music México.

 

 

Isadora Sofia Figueroa is the daughter of the renowned Puerto-Rican singer Chayanne who is not only a singer but a songwriter as well and has been nominated for the Latin Grammy in the Best New Artist category.

Alex Luna is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Cancún, Mexico, known for his urban and Latin pop music. He achieved massive recognition in 2021 with the song "Te Marqué Pedo," a collaboration with Daaz that went viral globally. A remix featuring Christian Nodal followed in 2022.He is also an accomplished songwriter, writing for popular Latin artists such as Becky G, Grupo Frontera, and Christian Nodal.

His music Genre blends contemporary urban and EDM sounds with introspective lyrics . He released his debut EP, Introspección, in 2023, and his first full-length album, Futuralgia, in 2025.

Paloma Morphy is a Latin pop musician from Mexico City known for her blend of traditional Latin and contemporary pop music. Since her debut, she has gained popularity with her relatable lyrics and catchy melodies.Her latest album, Au, was released in May 2025. Previous albums include Todo a Medias (2024), lo que un día fue (2024), and Filofobia (2023).Some of her most notable singles are "lo que un día fue," "SEB," "Todo a Medias," and "pijama.".

Collaborations: Morphy has collaborated with Gera MX on "Todo a Medias" and with Yukun and Caztro on "Noche de Paz". 

Sued Nunes is a Brazilian musician known for her distinctive sound that combines traditional rhythms with modern electronic production. Hailing from the state of Bahia, she has garnered recognition for her soulful vocals, memorable melodies, and heartfelt lyrics. 

Musical style: Nunes creates a unique fusion of Latin and Brazilian genres, utilizing traditional instruments like bongos, congas, and berimbau alongside electronic elements.Inspiration: She is a self-taught musician who draws inspiration from her environment and life experiences, which lends her music a sense of authenticity and passion.Nunes has been nominated for several awards, including the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. 

Popular songs and albums:"Povoada": A rhythmic and engaging track, which also features a popular remix with Maz and Antdot."Travessia": A soulful song that highlights her vocal range and is the title track of her 2021 album."Concha": A calming and peaceful track. Segunda-feira: An album released in 2024. 

Mariana Ruzzi is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, and producer from Chihuahua, Mexico.She is known for her distinctive style that combines pop and indie-pop with soulful vocals and infectious melodies.

Her discography includes the albums Nave Especial (2018), Ruzzicovers(2022), and Mariana (2024).
